I had an Impossible Burger yesterday just to see how it tasted. First, of course, the patty was half as thick as the advertising shows (but that’s a long-standing issue with the marketing of fast food). Second, so much sauce, tomato, onion, cheese, lettuce, and ketchup were on it that, with the bun, it was hard to taste the burger itself. Third, I separated a chunk of the burger from everything else and just ate that…nothing to write home about. Won’t order it again. I’ll stick with the Morningstar “fake” chicken nuggets and patties at home.
